Pair of 1930s Ciro CP Floral Fur Clips

This is a pair of fur clips which could be worn happily together or apart.  These vintage clips were made by the English company, Ciro of Bond Street, most likely in the 1930s.  They're designed as mirror images of each other in the form of floral bouquets and decorated with clear crystals set in rhodium plated metal.

All crystals are present and in good condition.  One of the small crystals at the tip of the stem on one of the clips appears darker in some of the photos however  it looks fine in natural light as seen in the photo of the clips on the wooden background.  The fur clip mechanisms are in good working condition with just a bit of wear to the metal plating visible under magnification.

Stamped 'CP' and 'ENGLAND' on the back of each clip.  CP stands for Ciro Pearls, as pearls were originally their main business.

Ciro (Ciro of Bond Street) opened for business in 1917 and began selling top quality costume jewellery.  They were particularly renowned for their use of imitation pearls and in fact much of their early jewellery is marked 'CP' where the 'P' stands for Pearls.  They also used 'SCP' to stamp their sterling silver jewellery.

How do you rate the condition of a piece?

Excellent - No visible flaws to note but items may exhibit some signs of age related wear
Very Good - Some visible flaws which aren't considered to impair the wearability of the piece
Good - Some more notable flaws but the piece is still in collectible condition

All items are vintage and have lived a previous life, therefore signs of age related wear are to be expected. I do my best to bring attention to any faults in the description and by using the condition scale.
