Standard Necklace Length Guide
Necklaces come in all shapes and sizes but you'll see standard lengths referenced frequently in jewellery descriptions. Below is a chart showing these standard lengths in centemeters and inches and where they fall on the body.
Collar - (30cm - 33cm) The collar sits snugly around the neck, remember the 90s ladies?
Choker - (35cm - 41cm) The choker falls just above the collar bone. It's very versatile and what we stock most.
Princess - (45cm - 50 cm) These sit just below the below collar bone at a classic length. Think: pearls.
Matinee - (56cm - 58cm) The matinee will sit just at the top of the bust.
Opera - (75cm - 90cm) Most traditionally opera pearls, this length will sit below the breastbone.
Rope - Anything longer than an opera. The most iconic examples being the famous Chanel sautoir necklaces. These can be wrapped around the neck to sit at a shorter overall length.
UK Ring Size Chart
Fortunately many rings created by the costume jewellery makers of the past are adjustable in size. If you do come across a ring that you love which isn't adjustable, the figures below will help you decide if it will fit. The following chart shows UK ring sizes and their equivalent circumference measurement in millimetres.
