Vintage Louis Rousselet Jewellery

Rousselet was a French jewellery designer, active in the trade from the early 1900s to approximately 1970.  He trained from a very young age and learned the art of glass bead making - these beads feature in all his jewellery creations.  Most often unsigned, Rousselet pieces can be identified through a few signature elements, like the fine glasswork, the distinctive filigree or mesh backings and the the trombone clasp found on his brooches.  A few pieces were signed 'LR', many were stamped 'Made in France'.
