Kenneth Jay Lane formed his jewellery company in the early 1960s after training with Hattie Carnegie and designing shoes for Christian Dior. His jewellery draws inspiration from the animal kingdom and various cultures. His pieces were frequently featured in episodes of Sex and the City.
