Vintage Stanley Hagler NYC Blue and Pink Earrings

SOLD

These earrings should be appreciated for their design and workmanship.  All of the elements have been intricately assembled by hand and have come together to make a very pretty pair of clip on earrings. The earrings are built up in layers consisting of iridescent blue beads, gilt metal flowers decorated with pink crystals and topped with a pink and blue glass flower set in a bed of blue crystals.  The overall effect is impressive.

All of the crystals are prong set and the different layers are wired together.  All of this work would have been done by hand by skilled crafts people.

They are signed on the back of one of the earrings on a plaque with 'STANLEY HAGLER N.Y.C'.  The design style and signature plaque lead me to believe these date from the 1990s.

They will be provided with silicon clip pads for extra comfort should you need it.

In excellent condition without any flaws to note.

Stanley Hagler

Stanley Hagler made costume jewellery in a similar style to that of Miriam Haskel.  Many pieces were intricatly beaded around fine metal work.  The company was founded in the mid 1950s using the mark 'Stanley Hagler' until the 1980s when 'Stanley Hagler N.Y.C' came into play.  However, most pieces stamped 'Stanley Hagler NYC' were made after his death in 1996 by his apprentices.

How do you rate the condition of a piece?

Excellent - No visible flaws to note but items may exhibit some signs of age related wear
Very Good - Some visible flaws which aren't considered to impair the wearability of the piece
Good - Some more notable flaws but the piece is still in collectible condition

All items are vintage and have lived a previous life, therefore signs of age related wear are to be expected. I do my best to bring attention to any faults in the description and by using the condition scale.
