Limited Edition Lacroix Heart Brooch 1991
Made in characteristic Lacroix style this vintage brooch is big and bold. It has a rough-hewn look and an antiqued wash over the gold plate - all countered with shining rhinestones and fine metal work.
The safety clasp is in working order and closes securely.
Stamped with the 'CL' Lacroix signature plaque on the reverse, this brooch also features a handwritten stamp 'Noel 91' indicating it to be part of the 1991 Christmas special edition.
Top Tip: Heavy brooches like this can pull on lighter fabrics. To keep the brooch upright and your fabric safe it's a good idea to place a small round makeup sponge behind the fabric, and to pin the brooch into that.
The French fashion house of Christian Lacroix was founded in the late 80s. The house is well known for their bold, often oversized costume jewellery with gold being the favoured finish. Their limited edition Christmas pins are especially collectible.
