Antique Czech Colourful Rhinestone Brooch

SOLD

This pretty flower shaped brooch is from the Edwardian era and of Czech origin.

It features ornate pressed brass filigree style openwork and is decorated with prong set multi-coloured Czech glass gems in shades of red, pink, blue, green, and yellow.   The central blue stone is unfoiled and open to the back of the brooch.  It measures 0.6cm across and the brooch measures 5.5cm in diameter.

The brooch fastens with a c-clasp.

It is in very good condition, with normal signs of wear and age.  All stones are present although I just noticed that one of the blue gems is a replacement - hard to spot unless you're searching for it though.

Unsigned

Some things are too pretty to ignore.  We try to focus on signed items but we'll sometimes include unsigned jewellery of high quality.

How do you rate the condition of a piece?

Excellent - No visible flaws to note but items may exhibit some signs of age related wear
Very Good - Some visible flaws which aren't considered to impair the wearability of the piece
Good - Some more notable flaws but the piece is still in collectible condition

All items are vintage and have lived a previous life, therefore signs of age related wear are to be expected. I do my best to bring attention to any faults in the description and by using the condition scale.

When will I receive my delivery?

We aim to send packages out the following business day after an order is received. All items will be carefully wrapped in a Gadelles box, finished with a ribbon and placed in a discreet bubble lined envelope, or small parcel box if the order contains multiple items.

Very fragile items will be protected with extra bubble wrap.
